Roughly, 11 months ago, while on my European co-op, I tossed a Euro coin in the Trevi Fountain. As the legend tells it, doing so will forever draw you back to the Eternal city.
I've now been to Rome three times this year!!!
Quick message: Jeff and I just arrived in Rome, after spending a pleasant day in Herculaneum, just outside Naples. We saw the archaeological site and went up to the caldera of Mt. Vesuvius. Hung out with our new friend, Ben, frome Sydney, Australia. Pics to come.
Ciao

Is it true that the Holy City can absolve all sins? Then it's high time I paid a visit too...
It's absolutely true! Which is why it's important to schedule Rome near th end of your trip, so you can commit as many sins as possible on your way there. :)
I heard this rumour that one has to repent in one’s own heart in order to be truly absolved of all sins, but hey, that could’ve been started by some gossipy Pope. Chris, I have two stock Italian phrases that are guaranteed to elicit a reaction (what that reaction is, however, is up to the stars):
- “Ciao bella, commo vano les cossés?”
- “E toy occhi sonno bellisimo”.
What they mean I can’t say. Just thank me after you’ve wooed some donna.
Unfortunately for Rohit 3 days in the Holy City wasn't enough to absolve all sins. Plus he's vegetarian, so he's going "u know where" anyways ;)
chris, why are all your friends brown?
*ducks swing*
